Around 70 members of the RFCA, from throughout Yorkshire and the Humber, travelled down to Westminster with the intention of informing and educating people about the worth of the reserves and cadets. The RFCA members also briefed MPs on the funtions of the RFCA and what it does within their individual constituencies.
Commenting, Martin said that: “The Cadet Forces are an excellent way of encouraging our young people to serve their community, providing a disciplined structure that builds character. They are frequently on parade at civic events in NE Lincs and are a credit to the area.”
