Martin Vickers joined hundreds of people who wished to pay their respects during the Remembrance service on Sunday at the Cenotaph on St Peter's Avenue, Cleethorpes. The crowds brought the centre of Cleethorpes to a standstill in their effort to honour and recognise those who have served and continue to serve.
Martin Vickers, the MP for Cleethorpes, said that it was "a privilege to be present at Cleethorpes Remembrance service and to lay a wreath". "It's always a privilege to be here to show respect. It's encouraging to see how many members of the local community have decided to turn out to show their appreciation for those who have fought for us. It is something we must continue to do."
