Martin Vickers has backed the residents of Habrough in opposing a proposal to build 118 new homes in the area.
Commenting on the proposal, Martin said:
"They (residents) are very worried that the drainage system is inadequate and concerned about the likely increase in traffic onto already congested and dangerous roads. There is also doubt about the ability of public services, such as GPs, to accommodate greater numbers. Transport is also a problem as most services are only available in Immingham or Grimsby. Most people recognise the need for more house building but question whether the site is suitable for 118 properties – a lower density area would be more appropriate."
