Along with Lia Nici MP and Sir Edward Leigh MP, I had an extremely positive meeting with the LNER Chief Executive, David Horne.
Mr Horne outlined the operational challenges that providing a service through to Cleethorpes would present owing to the limited availability of rolling stock. However, with new stock in the pipeline it looks possible that we could achieve our long awaited goal of restoring the through service in the not too distant future.
Rest assured the campaign goes on.
