Martin Vickers held a public meeting last night in Barrow upon Humber. During the meeting, Martin was joined by Environment Agency officials and North Lincolnshire councillors who were able to update local residents, many of whom had suffered flooding to their houses following the tidal surge in December last year, on how plans are being developed to strengthen flood defences.
The Environment Agency were also able to report that the flooding defences had already been restored to the pre-surge levels.
